Hello spring peace out winter

I'm very psyched that its April and super ready for spring. I'm down to one more order before I hit the wait list items which is great so looking forward to stocking up the shop with new items. Then I'll be packing up the sweatshop and hitting the road for the next couple months.




not to worry though this shop is mobile...



I'm gonna go visit my awesome mom in Kiawah Island SC for a little.



Can't wait to do some nice road riding in the sun:)



Then I'll pack up again and off to the Florida Keys!!



Joe will be joining me after he finishes up with his semester, can't wait!! He's been working too hard this year and this trip is well deserved.



Also can't wait to see my sister Kate down in the Keys:)



This winter has been pretty nice not as rad as last year what with the snowpocalypse and all but still pretty great. Here are some of the highlights of our winter.

We try to get out to Ohiopyle every weekend as it is so beautiful out there and we find new trails every time we go.

Catching up with tool roll orders

We've been so lucky to have had this busy month and I'm so happy to be down to two more orders! I'll be getting to the wait list items hopefully next week as I'm trying to rest and recover from the flu I've had for the past week. So sorry about the wait everyone, I'm really excited to get some gear back in the shop.



I'm so psyched to have a few new items in the sweat shop the first is our new sailrite sewing machine. We got it specifically for sewing on all of our webbing and handles, its one burly machine. Check him out!

As some of you might know our soulrun shop is an etsy shop which is great place for hand made artists to sell their goods. I love browsing through all the shops and also do some shopping:) Here are a couple new prints I got to decorate the soulrun sweatshop.

Awesome Velo News Review!!:)

We were super beyond psyched that our soulrun gear was featured in the March issue of Velo News!!!:) You can click on the Velo News link to take a closer look but here it is.



The review was amazing and we are so grateful to Nick Legan for giving us a chance, so awesome!!

As a result of the Velo News review things have been a little crazy this month. Since our gear is made to order we decided to take about 30 orders and then close up shop a bit to catch up. At this point I have only 4 orders to go and I'm all caught up! Check out a recent picture of our sweatshop:)

You meet the nicest people on the trail.

It snowed 8" last week in one day then it rained for a 36 hours. So what is usually a serene stream was a raging torrent.

How often do you get to see a kayak on your hiking trail?

Prototype Shop Apron

This is a sneak peek at our new shop apron. I am really psyched on it.

They are going to be made out of cotton duck (like on Carhartts) with grossgrain trim and polypro webbing. There are two pockets on the waist and a small pocket on the chest. We made it "free swinging" on the prototype, but I think we'll attach it normally on the final version. 

New Tool Rolls!

We have a bunch of new tool rolls up on http://soulrun.etsy.com.

We are making some new mega tool rolls out of Naugahyde, they are really nice. They are perfect for a courier bag or pannier. Oh and they look really cool.

We are totally legit now.
